Who We Are

The Southwest Kansas Builders Association was founded to bring together members of local residential and commercial building groups for the purpose of growing the building industry. Working together, our members promote a positive image of the building industry, quality workmanship, building practices and the benefits of strong economic growth. We strive to accomplish this through Education, Unification, and Legislation.
We are committed to providing education for our members and the public through special programs offered and inviting input from area leaders. We also utilize resources available to us from the Kansas Building Industry Association and National Association of Home Builders.
By joining forces, we can make a difference on matters of concern to Southwest Kansas. Showing support for local governments on issues that support the economic development of Southwest Kansas, we make our voices heard on legislative issues that affect our industries. With association and networking with other members of the industry, we learn that we are not alone in the challenges we face and that together, we can find workable solutions that will benefit the entire industry.

Mission
The mission of the Southwest Kansas Builder’s Association is to unite contractors, realtors, insurance professionals and all stakeholders in property development to foster a collaborative environment. We are dedicated to enhancing industry education programs, providing invaluable networking opportunities, and ultimately empowering our members to thrive in a dynamic marketplace.
