Overview: Darrell Boger brings over five decades of experience in the construction trades as a Master Mechanical & Plumbing Artisan and a multi-discipline certified inspector and instructor. He holds certifications as a Mechanical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Building Inspector, Plans Examiner, and Combination Inspector. Darrell is also licensed as a state-certified Codes Instructor in both Kansas and Iowa. For over 30 years, he has delivered code-based education across multiple trades, guiding professionals through building regulations and standards.
Course Outline
Category I Gas Venting (per IFGC) — 3 hours Comprehensive training covering venting requirements, design, materials, safe routing, terminations, and code compliance for Category I equipment.
Structural Member Notching & Boring (per IFGC) — 1.5 hours Focused guidance on allowable notching and boring practices in structural framing, aligned with IFGC provisions to ensure structural integrity and compliance.
